Tales From Inferna is an ongoing serial, part writing exercise, part homage to the pulp-fiction genre where many of the greats found their footing.
The story is being written without an outline and without any sort of pre-planning. The character backstories, the lore of the world, everything is created word-by-word straight from my fingers, to your eyes – with as little interference as possible.
It has the potential to be catastrophic, but it’s also a lot of fun.
I like to get a new entry on the site every month, this is in addition to the weekly blog posts I do, the writing competitions I enter, the book and short stories I’m working on – not to mention my pesky day job.
With all that in mind, what gets posted is not something which has gone through any sort of in-depth editing process. That’s just not realistic for the sort of turn around I’d like to achieve, and it’s really not the point of what this is. Spelling mistakes, weird prose, janky grammar; feel free to point it all out and I’ll fix it as soon as I can.
It is immensely satisfying to provide content for readers in such an efficient way. Despite all its beautiful warts, I hope you can all find something to love in the barren sands that is Inferna.
